About Conference and reason for attending
Through internet
search, I came to know about that conference and I wondered the list of peoples
who is going to attend, all the people are greatest pioneering in the field of
C-H activation. That too, the theme of conference is close to my research
areas. This is reason behind to attend this conference and want to know about
recent researches.
The 47th
Naito Conference C-H bond activation and transformation
organized by Naito foundation, Japan about more than 100 scientists including
invited talks and poster presentation were attended the conference. The Naito
foundation is a non-profit organization, which is motivating the researcher with
in-depth knowledge of all the field of science and award of 10 million Japanese
yen for outstanding achievement in science with gold medal. The conference was
held at CHATERAISE Gateaux Kingdom SAPPORO, Hokkaido, Japan, July 02-05, 2019.
Scientific Program
Monday, July, 2, 2019.
The conference an officially began on 17:00, July, 2, 2019, Monday with opening remarks by Naoto CHATANI (Osaka University, Japan), Chairperson of this conference and then the first talk was given by Shinji MURAI (Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan).
Followed by a couple of talk given by Jin-Quan YU (The Scripps
Research Institute, USA), Hidetoshi TOKUYAMA (Tohoku University, Japan) and
Sukbok CHANG (KAIST, Korea). All of them gave the excellent presentation on development
on C-H bond activation on early days to till now. By evening, we had a great
banquet with Japanese style food with more fun and interaction with professors.

The morning session started at 09:00 am on nanocarbon enabled by C-H activation by Kenichiro ITAMI (Nagoya University) and followed by the several talks were given by the professors from USA, Japan, Switzerland. All the presentations were very impressive and wondered with beauty of chemistry. The last session of the day was 2 minutes’ flask talk for odd number of poster presenters. I was the first poster presenter and the session begun with my presentation on ‘A copper(II)-catalyzed annulative formylation of o-alkynyl anilines with DMF: a single-step strategy for 3-formyl indoles’ in better way. Then, other odd number presenters were given their presentation and had a great dinner with all participates. After dinner, poster presentation was started at 19:30- 21:30, I presented my poster with different professor and had a interaction with them.
Thursday, July 4, 2019.
On this day, the different expertise of the C-H bond activation given their talks and end of the session was flash talk of even number posters. Then had Chinese style dinner and followed by poster session, during time I had a look on different poster and interacted with them. This day, all the poster presentations were done.
Friday, July 5, 2019.
The last day of the conference, four talks were given on
electrochemical based C-H activation, Pharmaceutical importance, Metal
catalyzed reactions from Japan, USA, Switzerland. After the morning session,
the conference was ended with closing remarks and then had lunch. Finally, we
left from the conference site to Sapporo station by bus.
Learning of lecture and culture of Japan
I had a great opportunity to go the Sapporo city, Japan to participate in such a wonderful conference.
The city is quite special located northern part of Japan, the hotel fulfilled with all facilities, stylish and luxury. All those days of conference, I attend all the session without missing and seen the people way of presenting their ideas to audience and discussion session after their talks. From this, I learned many things to improve all aspects of research ideas and publishing articles.
During the leisure, I had chance to chat with Japanese professors
and other participates from other countries to share the cultures each other.
Few places I had visited like Odori park, Sapporo station underground shopping
place and parks. That time, I talked with peoples and enjoyed the beauty of
Sapporo City, Japan.
Summary and future perspectives
Attending the 47th Naito Conference C-H bond activation and transformation, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Through like this conferences, an opportunity to know our horizons level and can bring to next level, where we can see the latest and the newest ideas, research, concepts and techniques which will be useful for our study. Through this conference, had a chance to represent our school to the world. To discover new research and publish our work, learn new technologies which will help me to advance my career. I also share ideas, knowledge and interact with famous professors and researchers in my research area from all over the world. This will definitely help in future for collaboration of Kaohsiung Medical University and other schools from different part of the world.

flash talk about my poster during the conference time as part of the session on
Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 in front of the great scientists
throughout the world in the field of C-H activation chemistry. I felt happy
about it now.
Poster Presentation, Wednesday, July, 3rd, 2019,
The poster session was held on the second day of the conference as
last session at 19:30-21:30. I was presented my poster and interacted with
different professors. Had a good experience from it.
