二、與會心得
很高興可以有機會參加美國流行病學期刊(American Journal of Epidemiology)主辦的流行病學研討會，SER研討會(Society for Epidemiologic Research Meeting)為美國流行病學相關研究領域的大型研討會，從1968年舉辦至今，且每五年會舉辦為大型的congress，參與這個會議可以有機會接觸來自全球各地的具專業領域的研究員，不僅僅拓展視野也可以增進彼此之間交流互動，對於流行病學相關領域的研究狀況及互動，可以有更進一步的暸解。藉由參加此次的研討會了解流行病學相關領域的研究現況、學習新的知識與不同的思考面相，並且利用海報展示的機會學習如何表達自己的研究成果。此外在展示海報時，不論是自己或其他學者都可以對研究上的問題做及時的發問與討論，這可以幫助未來的研究有更進一步的探討。
三、考察參觀活動(無是項活動者省略)
參加研討會前，先到位於Boston的哈佛大學與麻省理工學院參觀。
